Dan Kennedy Tapes For Free – Are you kidding?

Hi,

Terry Dean one of the very famous Internet Gurus, has announced in his blog that he’s giving away close to 150+ tapes to 2 persons who sends a trackback to his blog post.

Even after several days, there’s not many trackbacks appeared.

While he may be busy with something else and so he may not have approved the trackbacks to appear, there is a remote possibilty of a second option being true also.

There is a story in the direct marketing world when a veteran marketer Mike Enlow once released an advertisement offering crisp $20 bills to anyone who sends him $2.

The response was zilch. And that’s exactly the point he wanted to make.

I really don’t know if Terry is also making the same point.

Anyway, I am taking a few minutes of my time to post this and send a trackback to his post.

If I win. I’ll sure let you guys know.

Guys, he also asked to comment on the posts I like in his blog.

While this is a free blog hosted by WordPress, I find Terry changing his theme from semiologic to the one provided by Mike Fortin.

The second thing I appreciate in Terry’s blog is he makes no apologies to hide his beliefs.

While the current trend is to appear as politically correct as possible, I really find him different and he has an entire category in his blog sharing his beliefs.

Well, let me also come out on open.

I am a Christian. I believe that Jesus is the son of God who came to earth to die for me and rose up again.

Hey, if you have any problems accepting this, you can leave this blog post, however, I request you to accept Jesus as your personal saviour.

Oh God, a copywriter touting himself as an evangelist. Isn’t that a bit over the top?

Well, actually no.

As a Copywriter, I feel that I have to get enthusiastic about what I sell. If I am not, do you think the prospect will be interested? Not a chance.

So as a matter of fact, I don’t sell anything I don’t believe in.

I don’t write copy for anything I feel detrimental to the human psyche.

I don’t write copy for anything which I don’t honestly believe in.

I think this is a bit long for a post, however, I feel like I accomplished something.

So thank you Terry for making my day.
